This class requires commitment and intentionality. We will be going deep and not playing around.
1. This class necessitates commitment and regular attendance as the classes build on each other. We are also building an intentional community for you where you will be able to encourage and connect with one another outside of class.
2. With the exception of an emergency, if you are unable to attend a class, please let me know in advance. In advance means letting me know because of a scheduled out (vacation, graduation, etc), not a day of / 1 hour before class.
3. Because the classes build on each other and we are forming an accountability group among ourselves, if you miss 2 classes in a row without a reason, we will discuss staying in the group. If you must are going to miss more than 4 classes in total, this may not be the season to take this class.
4. This will be more discussion oriented than SL 1.0. As we intentionally connect with one another more, everyone will be encouraged to contribute to the conversation. We will also be practicing praying out loud.
5. There will be homework, that is, practicing what we are teach. You are expected to practice it during the week in anticipation of discussing and refining the practice at our next class.
