Serve Teams

Intercessory Prayer Team
This team comes together regularly to pray for the community, church and more. They plan, discuss, organize and implement our church-wide weeks of prayer, capture prayer concerns and more.
Worship Team
The worship team is responsible for the worship of Embark Church. Depending on the position, an audition may be required.

Musicians & Vocalists -Team members play an instrument or sing as a part of our worship team.  Please note an audition is required.

Sound - Team members operate the sound board during Sunday AM worship. This position requires an ear to mix sound.

Lyrics - Team members present the slides and change the lyrics on the screens during in-person worship.

Lights/Camera – Team members operate the lights as well as operating the cameras during our in-person worship.
Children's Ministry
This team prays, discusses, organizes, and implements the various pieces of the Children's Ministry. A background check is required.
Student Ministry
Embark Church is looking for either a male or female to help lead our student ministry small groups of around 5-10 middle and high school students. If you are looking for a place to make a difference in this community this is where you need to be!

Job duties include:
  • Connect with and teach our middle and high school students
  • Work with an existing team of student ministry volunteers
  • Work with the ministry coordinator in planning, coordinating, and administering fellowship events, service/outreach events, and curriculum
  • Facilitate student involvement during Sunday morning worship

Time requirements:
Our student ministry volunteers will only need to be on-site on Sundays. They will:
  • Gather and fellowship with our students / congregation before and after our Sunday morning worship service
  • Lead the student ministry small groups from 5:30-7:30pm

This team prays, discusses, organizes, and implements the various pieces of the Student Ministry.
Facilities Team
The Facilities team meets on the 1st Saturday of every month for 2-3 hours of repairing, installing, maintaining and / or improving the 3600 Columbia Road campus. 
Events Team
Team members manage the planning, launching and clean-up of the 2 annual events fellowship events (Christmas party and SERVE team party) as well as assisting in the decorating for the Christmas Eve service, Easter service, and Fall & Spring Grow Group launches. 
Congregational Care
Team members reach out either through phone, text, cards or visits to care for those in the hospital, sick, or other life event.
Sunday Morning Teams
Members of these teams serve once each month on Sunday mornings to create a welcoming environment for our Sunday AM experience. Members serve on these teams in addition to serving on one of the above teams.

Hospitality/Coffee Team - Team members make coffee, set up breakfast, and maintains the cleanliness of the lobby and bathrooms on Sunday mornings.

Flag Team - Team members sets up the flags and assist in the parking lot on Sunday mornings.

Safety Team - Team members monitor the hallways, entrances, worship center, lobby, and children's ministry during service.

Welcome Team - Team members greet people at the door and in the lobby, making a point to connect with visitors.

Communion Team - These people help prepare communion monthly, typically the 1st Sunday of each month.

Media Team - These people take photos/videos before, during, and after service.
