Scripture: Daniel 7:15-28
Summary: Daniel receives a vision of the end times in verse 1-14. An angel interprets it to Daniel 15-28. The saints will be persecuted and Satan will prevail over us UNTIL the Ancient of Days returns, establishes His Kingdom and the Saints take possession of it.
Key points:
1. v28. Keep this matter in your heart. Remember that it is only going to worse. Also, do not put your trust in the elephant or donkey to walk in your Christian values.
2. V25. Judgement. There will be a judgement for everyone.
3. V15. Do not be anxious. Christians are called to surrender all to Him.
Questions:
1. What captured your attention from the sermon? Why or why not?
2. How would you live out your faith differently knowing that persecution is coming but Jesus will prevail in the end?
3. Understanding we will all be judged, what does your preparation for this judgement look like in light of this scripture?
4. If you were thrown into prison for your faith and all was stripped away from you would you be able to find Jesus as your only source of joy? Why or why not?
5. What would you like to discuss with the group regarding the scripture or sermon?
