Vision

Our objective is to “mobilize” the Prayer Warriors (PWs), to bring about 4 things for Embark:
1. Release the power of God at our disposal and to experience, as well as, expect to operate in the supernatural
2. Spiritually deepen the knowledge and experience of the congregation through intercessory prayer
3. Establish and manage an effective prayer ministry and culture within Embark
4. Follow God where He leads as a result of leaning into this

Sun AM Worship Prayer Prep Guide

The objective of this guide is to:
  • individually and intentionally prepare ourselves for worship, not just "drift into" a worship service
  • intercede for the people of Embark as well as those who will visit Embark.

Personal prep for worship
1. Read a psalm related to worshiping God.  Some suggestions include Ps 24, 66, 95, 100
2. Where have I personally experienced You this week, for which I am grateful?  Gratefulness produces praise, Praise produces worship.
3. Is there anything I need to confess / surrender in order to have a clean heart?  Ezek 36:25-26 “I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you”
4. Do I expect to encounter You this morning at worship?  Expectation is invitation.

Interceding for the congregation
5. Pray for Holy Spirit to move today, making himself known.
6. Intercede for the people of Embark asking Holy Spirit to awaken hard hearts, to make Himself known to those who need it and to increase the faith of all.
7. Intercede for the visitors of Embark that they encounter Him this morning.
8. Mentally visualize driving into the parking lot and walking into our church.  Everywhere you walk, anoint it with the blood of Christ.  The walkways, doorposts, sanctuary, chairs, etc.
9. Prayer for where you are feeling led.
