Embark Church is actively recruiting for the following positions. These positions vary between paid stipend, internship, and volunteer ministry positions.

Musicians/Vocalists

Embark is building a worship team and actively recruiting people who have a desired level of musical competence. We are specifically looking for, but not limited to, the following positions:

  • Vocals
  • Guitar
  • Drums
  • Keyboard
  • Sound
We are also recruiting / have an internship program for those interested in learning how to become a praise and worship team manager.

Student Ministry Coordinator

Embark Church is looking for either a male or female to lead our existing student ministry of around 20-25 middle and high school students.

Job duties include:
  • Connect with and teach our middle and high school students
  • Work with an existing team of student ministry volunteers
  • Work with the pastor in planning, coordinating, and administering fellowship events, service/outreach events, and curriculum
  • Facilitate student involvement during Sunday morning worship

Time Requirements:
Our student ministry leader will only work on-site on Sundays. They will:
  • Gather and fellowship with our students / congregation before and after our Sunday morning worship service
  • Plan and coordinate (as needed) on Sunday afternoon
  • Lead the student ministry from 5:30-7:30pm

Media Intern

Embark is actively working with various colleges and universities and offers student internship opportunities.

Primary job duties:
  • Record, edit, upload video content from ministry departments
  • Collaborate with worship director for improving online worship experience
  • Work with various church leaders to create hybrid online/in-person workshops, conferences, small groups, etc.
  • Look at our existing stuff and tell us, lead us in how we can improve
  • Find other areas to help us improve

Marketing Intern

Embark is actively working with various colleges and universities and offers student internship opportunities.

Primary job duties:
  • Distribute digital content on social media platforms
  • Create google and social media ads
  • Increase search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Market major events such as conferences, workshops, events
  • Organize media for easy accessibility on platforms

Childcare Team Members

Embark is looking to add childcare workers to our children's ministry team. The hours are 9:00-11:30 AM on Sunday mornings.

Primary job duties:
  • Have a heart and passion for children
  • Friendly
  • Team player - works well with others
  • Great communication skills - must be able to communicate with parents and children
  • Be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Set up classrooms and materials as needed for lessons
  • Clean and disinfect classrooms after use
  • Monitor hallway/ children's restroom as needed
  • Handle check-in on Sunday mornings via ipads as needed

AV/Production

Embark is adding people to the following existing AV/production teams. There are two different positions.

  • Lyrics - Displays the lyrics and other media on the screens during Sunday AM worship.
  • Lights/Online Service - Manages the house and stage lighting transitions, as well as starts and ends the livestream.

Worship Team Manager

The worship experience manager is responsible for building, developing and leading Embark’s worship experience, both in-person and online as we move into 2 services. We have an existing small, core team in need of leadership and management.

Specific duties include (building a team assumes delegating responsibilities as needed):

Leading Worship Team
  • Create a cohesive worship team and culture
  • Lead the mid-week worship rehearsal
  • Lead the Sun AM service walk-thru rehearsal
  • Facilitate the congregational worship experience through the worship team
  • Develop and coach recruits and team members on how to improve

Recruiting / Auditioning
  • Recruit and manage the recruiting process
  • Manage the auditioning process

Administration / Planning
  • Using Planning Center Online, manage all worship team members, the song database and service flow. Team members include production (AVL personnel) and worship (musicians / instrumentalists)

Online
  • Manage all aspects of the online worship service to include video and audio recordings of worship sets, post-production, compiling the service and scheduling it to be posted online

  • Create more impactful / creative response times
  • Create creative worship experiences

College Ministry Coordinator

Embark Church is looking for either a male or female to build and develop a college outreach ministry and spiritual development ministry.

Job duties include:
  • Gather other college students
  • Facilitate college students' spiritual development
  • Work with the pastor in planning, coordinating, and administering fellowship events, service/outreach events, and curriculum
