guest connections Team Checklist

Goal: Be a guide for our first-time guests so they feel welcome, comfortable, and can begin connecting with others. Here’s how:
1st service Team
8:30 AM - Huddle at Guest Connections tent
8:35 AM - Set up guest connections tent
Set up tent in parking lot. Tent is located at end of hallway next to conference room. See diagram for tent placement. (Use wisdom in cases of heavy rain, high wind, mud, etc.)
Set up fans in tent as needed (located in white cabinet in kitchen)
Wear lanyard and name tag (located in white cabinet in kitchen)
Review FAQs given out at huddle
Stay at the tent to guide guests.
When guests arrive, greet and offer to show them around:
Bathrooms
Coffee Station & Breakfast
Child Check-in (if needed)
Help them get to usher team (hand-off)
9:15 AM - Take a break
If going into service, sit in the back of the room.
9:55 AM - Go to connections kiosk
Restock tshirts as needed
Receive connect cards and help find t-shirts
Write down any pertinent info on connect card (mom with two kids, just moved to Orangeburg, etc.
Leave connect cards in folder on the refrigerator door.
Pray with guests if their connect card indicates they need prayer.
10:30 AM - SERVE is complete
2nd service Team
10:10 AM - Huddle at Guest Connections tent
10:15 AM - Get in position at guest connections tent
Wear lanyard and name tag (located in white cabinet in kitchen)
Review FAQs given out at huddle
Stay at the tent to guide guests.
When guests arrive, greet and offer to show them around:
Bathrooms

Child Check-in (if needed)

10:45 AM - Take a break
If going into service, sit in the back of the room.
11:25 AM - Go to connections kiosk
Restock tshirts as needed
Receive connect cards and help find t-shirts
