Daily Prayer Focus

Each day, set aside time to get alone with God or gather with your family to pray for these specific needs in our community and our church.
Sunday, January 8
Pray that God will continue to deepen the existing unity among the people of Embark as we continue to live out Ephesians 4:4-6. Continue to thank God for the continued absence and resisting of any church politics.

Ephesians 4:4-6 - There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call - one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Monday, January 9
Pray for an increase of spiritual leaders who are teachable, will spiritually guide others, and who will commit to the hard work of leading others in a deeper relationship with Jesus. Continue to pray for the current leadership, staff, and volunteer leaders of Embark.

Titus 2:7-8 - Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
Tuesday, January 10
Pray that Embark will have an increased spiritual awakening, an increased desire for God and a greater collective spiritual depth in Jesus.

Psalm 27:4 - One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
Wednesday, January 11
Pray for the children’s and student ministry, specifically that our children and youth will receive a movement of the Holy Spirit / a "hearing from God experience" that will ignite their desire (or greater desire) for Him. Pray for the staff and volunteer leaders of these ministries as they seek to lead them.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 - And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
Thursday, January 12
Pray for our outreach ministry, specifically that the people of Embark will have a heart for, commit to and expand the serving of our selected outreach organizations. Pray this bears fruit in our lives, our church and our community.

Matthew 25:35-40 - For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Friday, January 13
Pray for people to be called and developed into associate pastors here at Embark.

Jeremiah 3:15 - And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Saturday, January 14
Thank God for the current financial health of Embark, an increased financial health for Embark and that people experience the joy associated with stewarding the financial resources He has provided you. Pray these resources are continued to be used to support, develop and expand the ministry and spiritual development of people.

Luke 6:38 - Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
Sunday, January 15
Pray that our spring grow groups will cultivate meaningful relationships and spiritually deepen participants.

Colossians 1:9-10 - And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Every day: Incoming prayer needs

Hebrews 4:16 - Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
