communion Team Checklist

Goal: Prepare communion for both services
Before 1st service
Prep trays
Prepare pastor’s communion:
Set up table
- Gather all communion supplies from kitchen cabinet
- Set out 4 bread plates and 4 juice plates
- Tear 2 loaves of bread into bite-sized pieces and place on bread plates
- Fill juice cups ¾ full and place on juice plates
Prepare pastor’s communion:
- Prep bread (2 loaves of bread, cut ¼ of the way through the middle)
- Put 1 loaf in basket for 1st service
- Save 1 loaf of bread for 2nd service
- Juice pitcher ½ full
- Goblet
Set up table
- Place white tablecloths on communion tables
- Set out cross
- Place trays and pastor’s communion on table
- Cover all plates and bread basket with white cloth
- Put any extra supplies in green room for 2nd service prep
Between services
- Refill Supplies
after 2nd service
- Clean all used items
- Return all supplies to kitchen cabinets
