New Staff

New staff joining the Embark Team!

If you have been to church in the last week or two, you have noticed we are adding new staff!  We are adding the RIGHT PEOPLE to the RIGHT POSITIONS in order to focus and expand our efforts of furthering the Kingdom of God in Orangeburg!

Jared Wise – Worship Leader

First, I would like to introduce Jared Wise as our new worship leader!  Jared is a skilled musician, has recorded with a band (3 Days Redemption) and has been one of the worship leaders at Midtown Fellowship in Columbia.  He is 23 years old and brings a level of music and worship leading expertise that, if you were in church this past Sunday, will agree is OUT OF THIS WORLD!  His duties include music selection, leading the worship team and leading worship.  He also has a heart for college outreach!  Get to know him.  Although he has visited and played with us already, this Sunday, February 5 is his first official day!

Thomas Sandifer – Ministry Coordinator

Next, I would like to introduce Thomas Sandifer.  Thomas is also 23, grew up in Orangeburg and recently graduated from Charleston Southern University.  He is our ministry coordinator, and  has the leadership ability to do several jobs.  He is focusing on coordinating Embark’s outreach efforts, helping with the youth and assisting in worship!  I assume that if you have been in church over the last month, you have already met him! I encourage you to introduce yourself and get to know him.

Embark is blessed to have an already incredible staff and the financial ability to bring on new people.  I am very impressed with the above young men however.  They have voluntarily come to Embark and entered into “mission status” when they could have gone elsewhere for more money.  This means that Embark pays them a small stipend and they must “self-fund” any additional money.  This shows an incredible desire and heart to serve God, to do his work and make a meaningful contribution to His church.  They believe in the vision of who we are, what we do and where we are going.  As a result of their missionary status, we will soon provide an  opportunity for people to financially contribute to both of them.  For now, get to know them and I look forward to where they put their “fingerprints” upon us a church.

In Christ,
